About Dr. Lazar

Dr. Jeffrey Lazar is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Administrator with over 20 years of experience in both urban and rural healthcare settings. Educated at Tufts University and Yale New Haven Hospital, he brings expertise in Emergency Behavioral Healthcare and Crises.

Dr. Lazar partners with behavioral health practitioners to advance patient-centered, evidence-based approaches to reducing psychiatric and behavioral risk factors and associated burdens on healthcare systems, providers and patients.

In addition to his role as chair of emergency medicine at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pa., Dr. Lazar advises ParityWell on clinical strategies and operations, ensuring the delivery of accessible, equitable, and high-quality behavioral healthcare. With a deep commitment to evidence-based practices, Dr. Lazar develops and oversees innovative care models designed to address systemic barriers and improve client outcomes.
