Who We Help
We support adults navigating challenges related to trauma, autism or ADHD, including:
Individuals recovering from trauma or adjusting to a late diagnosis or self-discovery of neurodevelopmental differences
Professionals experiencing burnout, executive function challenges, or workplace stress
Those seeking structured strategies to improve organization, time management, and decision-making
Individuals undergoing major life transitions, such as career changes, or relationship shifts
How Coaching Differs from Therapy
Coaching is distinct from therapy in several key ways:
Focus on Skills and Strategies: Coaching emphasizes the development of executive functioning skills, such as time management, organization, and task initiation, which are often areas of difficulty for neurodivergent individuals (Ahmann et al., 2018; Field et al., 2013).
Action-Oriented Approach: Coaching provides structured support to implement practical strategies and achieve specific goals, whereas therapy often focuses on exploring emotions and past experiences (NeuroSpark Health, 2024).
Complementary to Therapy: Coaching can enhance the effectiveness of therapy by addressing areas not typically covered in therapeutic settings, such as executive functioning challenges (ScienceWorks Health, 2025).
Scientific Evidence Supporting Coaching
Research indicates that coaching can lead to significant improvements in various areas:
Executive Functioning: A meta-analysis found that non-pharmacological treatments, including coaching, resulted in large effect size improvements in executive functioning among children and adolescents with ADHD (ADHD Evidence, 2024).
Social Skills: Coaching interventions have been shown to enhance social skills and communication in individuals with autism, particularly when tailored to individual needs (Nejati et al., 2024).
Well-Being: Studies suggest that coaching can improve subjective well-being and quality of life by promoting strengths use and self-efficacy (Taylor et al., 2023).
